How to delete your account

You can request permanent deletion in either of these ways:

In the NAYFT app (recommended)

  1. Open the app and go to Profile.
  2. Under Account, tap Delete account.
  3. Read the confirmation message, then tap Delete account again to confirm.

Once confirmed, your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out of the app.

By email

If you cannot access the app, email support@nayft.com from the address linked to your NAYFT account. Use the subject line Account Deletion Request and include your registered email address and username. We will verify your identity before completing the request.

We aim to respond to deletion requests within 10 business days.

What we remove when your account is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the information stored in NAYFT systems that is tied to your account, including:

  • Your account details (email, username, and sign-in information)
  • Your profile settings and preferences in the app
  • Wallet addresses and exchange connections you added for portfolio tracking
  • Your portfolio summaries, alerts, and activity history inside NAYFT
  • Comments, follows, saved news boards, and other social activity in the app
  • Notifications and device sessions linked to your account
  • Reward points and in-app history associated with your account

Deletion is permanent. After it is complete, you will need to create a new account if you wish to use NAYFT again.

What we may keep for a limited time

For security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance, we may retain certain records for a short period even after your account is deleted. This can include:

  • Basic security and access logs (typically up to 12 months)
  • Records of your deletion request and our response to it
  • Anonymised usage statistics that no longer identify you

We do not use this information to restore your account or to market to you after deletion.

What NAYFT does not control or remove

Because of how blockchains and third-party services work, we cannot remove or change the following on your behalf:

  • Public blockchain records — Transactions, wallet balances, and other on-chain activity are public and permanent on blockchain networks. Deleting your NAYFT account only removes our copy and association of that information with you; it does not erase anything from the blockchain itself.
  • Your Google account — If you signed in with Google, your Google account itself is managed by Google. We only remove the link between that sign-in and your NAYFT account.
  • Third-party platforms — Content or data held by exchanges, wallets, social networks, or other services outside NAYFT is not affected by deleting your NAYFT account.
  • Marketing emails you already received — Messages sent before deletion may still appear in your inbox, though we stop sending new marketing messages once your account is removed or you opt out.

Deleting some data without deleting your account

You do not always need to delete your entire account. Inside the app you can remove individual wallet addresses or exchange connections at any time. For other requests — such as correcting your email or removing specific saved content — contact support@nayft.com.
